Jiver's License is an upbeat swinger conductor score for a dance band. The chart alternates between a 2- and 4-beat feel, with key changes that build excitement.
There are no solos: the music features hot ensemble writing, with plenty for everyone to play and lots of inflections to help create a hip swing style. It’s a way to feature the entire ensemble—with no parallel parking required.
