This Parts Express micro bookshelf speaker cabinet pair comes as CNC-precision-cut MDF panels for assembly. Dadoes in the side panels help create a tight fit and increase the gluing surface; the front baffle has side roundovers to minimize diffraction. MDF provides an acoustically inert effect on speakers.
Assembly requires wood clamps and wood glue, takes about five minutes, and needs no screws. Panel thickness is 1/2". Finished cabinet volume is 0.04 cubic feet (70 cubic inches). The cabinets are made in the U.S.A.
External dimensions: 6.5" H × 4.5" W × 5" D. Internal dimensions: 5.5" H × 3.5" W × 4" D.
