La Regata Veneziana is a set of three canzonettas for voice and piano by Gioachino Rossini, likely composed in 1858. This LudwigMasters reprint edition can be sung by soprano or tenor.
The text by Francesco Maria Piave is written in Venetian dialect. The set is included in Volume 1 of Rossini’s Album italiano.
The three songs are “Anzoleta avanti la regata,” “Anzoleta co passa la regata,” and “Anzoleta dopo la regata.”
