Capable of powerful bass output with low distortion the SAF184.50 18" professional subwoofer from LaVoce is ideal for any high SPL speaker system. A massive 4.5" voice coil is wound on a heat resistant fiberglass former to handle up to 3,800 watts peak power. To keep compression to a minimum under high stress situations, the frame and motor include multiple vents for ample air flow across the coil to dissipate any excess heat. Two large diameter spiders and an optimized accordion surround keep the rigid paper cone linear up to the limits of the 25 mm peak to peak excursion and beyond. Holding everything together is a heavy duty cast aluminum frame that is designed to take the beating that is expected in the touring sound environment. All of this extreme construction makes the SAF184.50 18" subwoofer perfect for use in incredibly powerful designs.
