This CD presents a partner-song arrangement of the favorite American folk tune “The Erie Canal,” combining music with history and culture.
Its creative countermelody imitates the sounds of musical instruments that many Erie Canal passengers played to pass the time during their long journey through the locks. It offers an educational and enjoyable way to explore the song.
