Moving On with Soprano Recorder is an instructional program for beginning players, created for general music classes and individual independent study. It adds the right-hand notes D, E, and F# to the B, A, and G notes learned in the first book, Getting Started with Soprano Recorder.
The program includes a 20-page text with technique and practice exercises, theory lessons, and repertoire; a 21-track performance and practice audio CD; and 16 animated DVD lessons. The lessons use visual cues synced with motivating audio accompaniments and cover playing technique, practice, theory, and performance repertoire. Trios and duets are included for ensemble practice.
One copy of the DVD lessons may be made to a personal computer for personal use, allowing navigation and changes to video and audio speed without changing the pitch of the accompaniments. Teachers may copy scores and theory lessons from the text for students under their direct supervision.
