Cat lovers will enjoy this piece with clever lyrics that depict cat behavior perfectly. Written with the left hand thumb on middle C and the right hand thumb on middle D, the melody is divided between the hands. The 3/4 meter gives young students the opportunity to develop security with this time signature at an early level. An optional teacher duet fills in the harmonies and helps to establish a steady beat.
