The Neutrik 5-pin XLR DMX male panel-mount receptacle is a D-series connector with solder cups, a black housing, and gold contacts.
Its all-metal housing provides RF protection and electromagnetic shielding. The cage-type male contact increases conductivity and reduces wear on the mated female contact.
A duplex ground contact supports contact integrity between the chassis and cable connector. An optional connection allows pin 1 to be tied to chassis ground.
