The Neutrik I Series panel-mount combination jack brings a 3-pin female XLR receptacle and a 1/4-inch phone jack together in one housing. It is a mono, non-switching connector that combines two connectors in one unit of panel space to help save rack space.
Use it for balanced and line inputs or instrument inputs. The jack retention force comes from a special element completely separate from the jack, and the contacts connect via solder cups.
Very low conductor capacitance makes this connector suitable for digital audio.
