The Neutrik RX Series 5-pole right-angle female cable connector has a black metal housing and gold contacts. It is the right-angle version of the XX cable connector series and the successor to the RC series, with features designed to improve reliability, assembly, contact integrity and cable strain relief.
Its extra-slim design offers 5 selectable cable outlet positions. The female contact’s unique cage design supports low contact resistance and high integrity, while its solder barrier helps prevent solder from running into the contact mating area. An improved solid metal latch is larger and easier to handle, and additional ground spring contacts improve shell ground continuity.
The improved chuck-type strain relief provides higher pull-out force and makes assembly easier and faster. A boot with a polyurethane gland helps protect against cable bending stresses. Coloured rings and boots are available for coding or identification. The connector has a sleek, ergonomic design.
