"Olympus Calls" is a dynamic concert opener that can also be used for graduations or other ceremonial events that feature the atmosphere of a stately processional. Based on both the concept of the Olympic games and the Olympians of Greek mythology, this piece features the heraldry and majesty of Mt. Olympus calling out from on high as mighty heroes heed the summons and assemble. Brilliant fanfare flourishes and the thunder of percussion capture the drama and triumphant victories echoing throughout the ages.
