Kirby Shaw’s On A Clear Day (You Can See Forever) Choral Octavo offers a samba treatment of this stage and screen standard with a fresh vocal jazz feel.
Even at a brisk tempo, held notes lock into tight vocal jazz chords, while a few staggered entrances add texture and movement. A signature add-on stacks the voices into three independent layers before the arrangement opens into a syncopated scat riff at the end of the coda.
SoundPax includes four horns and rhythm, supporting the arrangement with a complete ensemble sound.
