The Story Behind Onkyo’s “Creator Series” SpeakersThe Onkyo Creator Series Powered Bookshelf Speakers are not ordinary desktop speakers. They have been carefully engineered as next-generation speakers with fully digital amplification, created to inspire and support today’s creators.
Built For Creators More people than ever spend long hours at their desks working creatively, whether it’s video editing, programming, design, or writing. To stay engaged and maintain creative flow, high-quality sound is essential. We wanted to design a compact speaker with rich musicality that enhances focus and fuels ingenuity. That vision led to the development of the Creator Series.
Why a Fully Digital Amplifier? One of the core innovations of the Creator Series is its fully digital amplifier. Unlike traditional speakers that convert digital signals into analog before amplification, these speakers amplify the digital signal directly. This delivers three major benefits: clean sound with minimal noise, strong bass even from a small enclosure, and energy efficiency for extended use. Altogether, the design is perfectly suited for a desktop environment.
Any Source Sounds GoodFully digital amplification can be unforgiving with low-quality sources, often making compressed audio sound harsh. To address this, we tuned the Creator Series differently. Instead of optimizing only for high-resolution files, we focused on making everyday sources enjoyable, ensuring streaming videos, compressed tracks, and internet audio sound balanced and pleasant. Testing was done in real-world environments, not just listening rooms, and our engineers used them daily in their own homes during development.
Connect Anything — EffortlesslyWith USB, Bluetooth, optical, line-in, and phono EQ connections, the Creator Series is versatile enough for nearly any device: PCs, smartphones, CD players, or turntables. Setup is simple, requiring just one cable, and a remote control is included for fast input switching. It’s designed to deliver great sound without hassle.
Audio Designed to Support CreativityThe Creator Series will continue to evolve to meet the needs of modern creators. Plans for future updates include custom EQ settings and advanced DSP features. Our goal is not just to provide great audio, but to make music an uplifting force that helps every creative process feel more enjoyable.
