This Parts Express gold-plated brass solder banana plug is designed for speaker interconnects and custom speaker cables. Soldering provides a reliable connection between speaker wire and the plug, and the gold plating allows fast and easy soldering.
It accepts 16, 14, and 12 AWG wire. The plug has 9 separate gold-plated leaf spring contacts that are corrosion resistant and provide maximum signal transfer.
Total length is 1.21" (30.7 mm), with a 0.14" (2.5 mm) outer diameter at the wire entry end. Use 1/4" heat shrink tubing or speaker wire pants to finish the installation.
