Parts Express Small Speaker Grille Guides use a ball-and-socket design to attach a speaker grille to a cabinet. Each package includes 12 pair, with male and female portions that press-fit into their appropriate holes.
The guides fit cabinet holes measuring 25/64" (10 mm) in diameter by 3/8" (9.6 mm) deep, and grille-frame holes measuring 3/8" (9.6 mm) in diameter by 1/4" (6.35 mm) deep. For best results, use a 13/32" (10 mm) drill bit for the cabinet holes.
Drill the appropriate holes in the cabinet and grille frame, then press-fit the corresponding guide portions into place.
