The Peerless By Tymphany NE315W-04 is a 12" woofer designed with a coated natural wood fiber cone and a 4 ohm design.
It features an innovative sculpted, open cast aluminum basket that helps minimize internal acoustic reflections and also acts as the neodymium motor's heatsink. An additional heatsink provides extra thermal dissipation.
A butyl rubber surround designed by finite element analysis supports linear performance, while FEA techniques also contribute to the motor's copper cap, which reduces inductance.
