The Peerless By Tymphany 2" full range woofer is a driver for products such as flat panel televisions, sound bars, MP3 and cell phone docking stations, and multimedia PCs.
It combines a neodymium motor structure and double-venting system with high power handling, smooth, even dispersion, and low distortion. An anodized aluminum dome supports sound dispersion and off-axis response, while a semi-progressive surround helps reduce distortion at high output through long excursion.
The directly connected dome dust cap is attached to the magnet system voice coil to improve high-frequency dispersion. An inserted copper cap on the pole piece controls system impedance and extends the upper frequency range. The driver can be paired with the Tymphany LAT250 for bass performance.
