The PRV Audio 12MR2000X-NDY is a 12" neodymium midrange speaker with 8 ohm impedance, designed for strong midrange output, smooth vocal response, and efficient performance in high-output systems.
It offers 2,000 watts RMS continuous program power, 1000 watts nominal power handling, 4000 watts max peak power, and 100 dB sensitivity at 2.83V/1m. The 4" voice coil uses CCAW wire on a heat-resistant glass fiber former, while the composite cone is made from non-pressed paper to help minimize break-up.
Key specifications include 6.10 mm Xmax, a frequency response of 100 – 5,200 Hz, and a recommended hi-pass crossover of 160 Hz 12db Per Octave Crossover for full power handling. The die cast aluminum frame, extensive venting system, and neodymium motor assembly are built to support cooling and reliable operation.
