PRV Audio 6MR400SEAL PRO Pro Series 6.5" Sealed Basket Midrange Speaker 8 OhmThe PRV Audio 6MR400SEAL PRO is engineered to deliver a smooth midrange response extending up to 9,000 Hz. It is designed to provide clear definition and high output in midrange frequencies, making it an excellent choice for high-output 3-way audio systems.
The sealed-back basket design simplifies cabinet construction by eliminating the need for a separate enclosure for other speakers. With a power handling capacity of 400 Watts RMS, this midrange driver can match the output of the most powerful drivers, making it suitable for use in 3-way cabinet systems (Midbass + Sealed Basket + High-Frequency Driver or Tweeter).Optimized to deliver detailed reproduction of midrange frequencies from 300Hz to 9,000Hz. A significant output peak at 400Hz achieves 100dB sensitivity at 1W/1m.
A lightweight paper cone pairs with a 1.5″ voice coil to deliver strong power handling up to 400 watts. A rugged spider suspension, fabric surround, and sealed back pressed steel basket work together to provide long-lasting durability.
Speaker cabinet designers often choose this driver when they need a robust sealed basket midrange capable of matching high-output low frequency drivers.
A closed basket design in a speaker such as the 6MR400SEAL PRO brings multiple benefits. It blocks interference from a woofer or midbass in a shared enclosure, leading to clearer and more precise midrange output.
This design also helps deliver a tight, impactful midbass and midrange, improving the speaker's overall sound quality.

Keeping this power for a little longer timer will damage the speaker.
