The PRV Audio QS7000 is a 1-channel, 2-ohm-stable full-range car amplifier built for mids and highs, PRO Audio loudspeakers, and custom car audio systems. Recommended minimum wiring is 0-gauge OFC power wire and 12-gauge speaker wire, with a 400 A fuse or circuit breaker. For installation, use 100% copper power cables of the shortest practical length, quality connectors, and a fuse within 12 inches of the battery. Mount the amplifier in a solid, ventilated area—not on a subwoofer box—and keep signal and power wiring away from vehicle wiring that may cause interference.
Power ratings are based on PRV Audio Group laboratory equipment; the detailed rating note specifies a 60 Hz–1 kHz reference and THD+N ≤1%, with possible measurement variation from component and manufacturing differences. The amplifier is designed for music applications with speakers; resistive-load testing is not recommended.
