The Roosebeck Deluxe Knob Tipper is a 9" three-knob tipper for the bodhran, designed to create lively rhythmic patterns with a solid, weighted feel in the hand.
It gives the greatest volume of sound and is described as the most versatile tipper style. This best seller is made from solid wood and hand turned on a lathe, so the profiles of the ends may vary slightly from the photograph.
A tipper is also called a bone, beater, or cipin. Comfort and grip are unique to each tipper, and different styles can produce different sounds—so trying a few is recommended.
