The Persian Hammered Dulcimer/Santoor, also called the Santur, is a 3-octave instrument with 72 strings and 9 right & 9 left courses.
It features a carved sheesham body with a multi layer construction and sheesham veneer, plus a Finnish birch ply soundboard. The metal tuning pegs and metal end pegs are positioned opposite each other, and the instrument includes movable treble and bass bridges with 2 side bridges, 9 treble and 9 bass bridges.
String gauges are 0.015 plain steel and 0.015 phosphorous bronze wire. Overall size is 35.25" L x 3.0" H x 10.75" W, and the recommended tuning is Traditional Fifth Interval, see tuning chart in Owner's Guide.
Included accessories: one pair of dulcimer hammers, a tuning tool, and a gig bag.
