Instrumentation: 0.2.2.2: 2.0.0.0. Unlike the generally light-hearted serenades of its time, this work is notable for its use of a minor key.
This is a reprint of Gustav Nottebohm’s 1880 edition, included in Mozarts Werke. Mozart later transcribed the serenade as the String Quintet, K. 406/516b.
