The SM57 is more than just a microphone for capturing tone—it's a powerhouse designed to handle the intense, high-pressure sound that comes from instruments and amplifiers at their peak. From the explosive crack of a snare drum to the roaring blast of an overdriven guitar amp, it ensures every detail is reproduced with accuracy, no matter how loud you get. Its robust design allows you to push the volume to the max without fear of distortion muddying the mix or overpowering the clarity of your performance. Whether you're rocking a live stage or laying down tracks in the studio, the SM57 is built to handle the heat. Your music deserves the freedom to be bold, dynamic, and as loud as you want it, and the SM57 makes sure it comes through loud and clear every time.
The physical toughness of the SM57 is the stuff of legends. They've survived long travel, age, ocean water, bar brawls, and even being used in place of a hammer. When you buy an SM57, be confident that you're buying a microphone that is made to go the distance.
Built for the Stage The SM57’s contoured frequency response is tailor-made for live performances, making it effortless to create clean, balanced audio for any live sound mix.
Ready for the Rough and TumbleThe stage can be unpredictable, but the SM57 is built to endure. Whether it’s a high kick, a stray drumstick, or the general wear and tear of touring, this mic shrugs off hard knocks without missing a beat.
Focus on What MattersEquipped with a uniform cardioid pickup pattern and a pneumatic shock mount system, the SM57 captures the pure tone of your performance while minimizing handling noise and unwanted background sound.
