Six Quartets Vol. 1: Nos. 1-3 Parts is a music publication based on Frederic Berr’s transcription of the six String Sonatas originally written by Rossini when he was only twelve years old.
Berr, a clarinettist who frequently worked with Rossini, prepared these arrangements from the composer’s early works. Five of the six sonatas were published in Milan in 1825 or 1826.
A useful choice for players, teachers, and collectors looking for Rossini transcription sheet music and historical clarinet repertoire.
