Build a portable 60W Bluetooth speaker with the Parts Express Conceal Carry speaker kit. Its components fit into a 30 caliber style ammo box; metal and plastic box versions can be used. Preparing the enclosure requires two 3" holes and one 3-2/3" x 2-3/4" cutout.
The kit includes one 2 x 30W Class D amplifier board with aptX HD Bluetooth 5.0, one panel mount with function and LED controls plus an install kit, one 18650 battery extension board, and two 3" full-range poly cone drivers rated at 8 ohms. Batteries are not included. Also included are one 15 VDC 4A AC adapter with a 2.1 x 5.5mm plug, center positive (+); one 25-pack of #6 x 3/4" pan head deep thread black screws; and one PC board M3 standoff kit with four 16 mm studs, four 10 mm studs, and four Phillips screws.
The board wires plug in without soldering. Connect speaker wires to the + and - terminals using 0.205" and 0.110" quick disconnects, sold separately, or solder the wires to each terminal. Mount the speakers with the included screws. The onboard Bluetooth antenna provides up to 50 ft. of range; for installation in a metal enclosure, connect an external antenna to the board’s antenna jack (antenna sold separately). Sound damping material is sold separately. Crossover components may be substituted with parts of equal or higher quality.
