This soldering iron tip cleaner is the best way to keep your iron's tip clear of excess solder and dirt. The dry nature of this cleaner won't cause the temperature of your iron to drop during use. Solder and dirt are "scoured" off the iron's tip and trapped inside the cleaner. The light-weight base even has a detent so you can rest your soldering iron between uses.
