In the tradition of Mendelssohn, this very pretty song, in 12/8 meter, triplet rhythm, is also a good study in broken chord accompaniment. Written in F Major, the style is very romantic and therefore expressive, and is played "Andante cantabile" and very legato. A Federation Festivals 2016-2020 selection. A Federation Festivals 2020-2024 selection.
