Jonathan Dove's affinity with the voice is demonstrated by his international success on the operatic stage. The run(a)way success of his airport comedy FLIGHT commissioned by Glyndebourne Festival Opera has led to further productions across the globe and he has since composed music dramas and operas of all shapes and sizes to enormous international acclaim
I recommend these approachable, vibrant compositions to every singer. They solve the problem of finding a good, singable contemporary piece in English, which so many competitions and scholarships demand.
