Sunshine Jamboree Sheet is a solo commissioned by the Choctaw Bay Music Club of Niceville, Florida.
Inspired by Florida’s nickname, “The Sunshine State,” this piece is bright and lively from start to finish. Chromatics and syncopation are highlighted in the melody, while the left hand adds a staccato, broken-chord accompaniment that is chromatic at times as well.
Together, the melody and accompaniment create a fast and festive musical character.
This sheet is a strong choice for players looking for a spirited solo with rhythmic energy and colorful melodic movement.
