Tango De La Luna (Tango of the Moon) is a conductor score and parts set by Sholom Secunda (1894–1974), a Ukrainian-Jewish composer whose work spans a variety of musical styles.
Secunda began his musical career in a comedy theater chorus after his family emigrated to the United States in 1907. Following formal education at the Institute for Music Arts in New York, he worked at the Odeon Theatre, the Metropolitan Opera House and Liberty Theatre. He also wrote the melodies for the Yiddish songs “Bei Mir Bistu Shein” and “Donna Donna.”
