Techflex Flexo is strong, expandable sleeving in Carbon, sold in a 25 ft length. Its 1/4" I.D. and 1/8"~7/16" size range let it slip over large connectors and form-fit over cables, wires and hoses. It helps protect them from abrasion, cuts and ultraviolet light, and can be used to color-code wires. Flexo is available in a variety of colors and sizes.
The braid is made from .010" monofilament polyester yarn and withstands temperatures from -103° F to +257° F, making it suitable for automotive applications. Its melting temperature is +446° F.
Terminate the sleeving with electrical tape, wire ties or heat shrink. For a professional look and to slide over large connectors, Techflex recommends its 3-to-1 Ratio heat shrink, also available in a variety of colors and sizes. Cut the braid with a hot knife to prevent unraveling.
