Techflex Flexo expandable sleeving in carbon helps protect cables, wires and hoses from abrasion, cuts and ultra-violet light. This 25 ft. length has a 3/8" inside diameter and a 3/16"~5/8" size range.
Braided from .010" monofilament polyester yarn, it withstands temperature extremes from -103° F to +257° F, making it suitable for automotive applications. The expandable braid slips over large connectors and form-fits over cables for installation; its colors can also be used to color code wires.
Terminate the sleeving with electrical tape, wire ties or heat shrink. For a professional look and to slide over large connectors, Techflex recommends its 3-to-1 Ratio heat shrink, available in a variety of colors and sizes. Cut the braiding with a hot knife to prevent unraveling; its melting temperature is +446° F.
