The North Pole Radio Hour is a swingin’ 1946 Christmas holiday musical for unison and 2-part voices. Its approximately 35-minute performance offers opportunities for the whole school to participate and is recommended for grades three and up.
Hosts Sandy Snow and Storm Phillips welcome the Moss Family, winners of the Klean Soap commercial songwriting contest, and long-distance callers who chat with Santa during the “Ask Santa” segments. Musical guests Joey Garland and Heather Holladay perform with backing from NPR’s own “Snowtones.”
Staging suggestions are included. The Enhanced SoundTrax CD includes a reproducible PDF file of the cover art.
