The Wearing Of The Green (From The Irish Suite) Conductor Score presents the fourth movement of Leroy Anderson's Irish Suite in a concert band format.
Originally drawn from familiar Irish folk tunes and created in 1947, this work was never before transcribed for concert band. Douglas Wagner has skillfully scored it in Anderson's charismatic characteristic style.
Three movements of the six-movement suite are now available for concert band, with the remaining three released in 2010. It can be performed as a stand-alone work or paired with the rest of the suite, including I. The Irish Washerwoman (item 83181) and III. The Rakes of Mallow (item 30836).
