This Twenty-Five Of December Choral Octavo is a festive Greg Gilpin original with a merry minor key sound and dance-like rhythms.
The style suggests Irish folk music or a sea chantey, and the holiday text includes trimming the tree, decking the halls, plus plentiful "fa la la's" and "noel's."
A mid-range soloist is featured on the softer, slower, introspective moment just before the final spirited refrain, ending with the line, "There's holiday cheer for one and all!"
