This short Pulju rag is meant to grab your attention. The introductory cross-hand keyboard run (written as a diminished 7th arpeggio) says, "Time to Get Up!" The perky theme which follows is helped along by bouncing L.H. staccato quarter notes and harmonies that are a little quirky. Are you UP! to the challenge?
