The Toca Freestyle II 12-inch mechanically tuned djembe features a new spun copper design. This listing is the 12-inch head x 23-inch tall size, recommended for adult players.
Its bolt tuning system makes tuning easy, and a tuning wrench is included. The all-weather synthetic head eliminates stretching, drying or losing pitch. An extended collar hoop provides a greater tuning range; the drum is lightweight and extremely durable, with rubber tips on the tuning lugs.
The Freestyle II range is available in four sizes: 9-inch head x 16-inch tall, recommended for kids ages 4–10 or as a backpacking drum; 10-inch head x 18-inch tall, recommended for kids ages 8–10; 12-inch head x 23-inch tall, recommended for adult players; and 14-inch head x 26-inch tall, recommended for adult players looking for the biggest range of tone. The 14-inch size comes with a free bag.
