The Toca Freestyle Doumbek is a 9-inch drum for African dance, with a unique design and a durable, easy-traveling synthetic body.
A goat skin head produces a warm, bright sound with deep bass and earthy high notes that project clearly. The drum supports huge bass thumps, slight outer-rimmed accents, and intricate yet subtle finger patterns, offering a wide variety of playing styles.
