The Tycoon Percussion Ritmo Series bongos have a natural finish and are constructed from carefully selected aged Siam oak. They feature top-quality buffalo skin heads and black powder hardware, with a size of 6" x 7".
The supplied description also refers to Tycoon Percussion “8” Series bongos, noting that their heads are slightly smaller than traditional bongo sizes and describing them as suitable for students and aspiring musicians. The product information also lists “Natural Mahogany.”
Bongos produce high-pitched sounds and are traditionally held between the knees and played with the fingers and palms. Some compositions call for sticks or brushes, and the drums can also be played on a stand, as in concert orchestras and bands.
