Tycoon Percussion Signature Grand Series Congas combine premium craftsmanship, striking natural beauty, and powerful projection for serious percussionists and performers. Each drum is constructed from hand-selected, top-grade American Ash wood with specially enhanced grain patterns and a natural matte finish that highlights the character of the shell. The extra-wide belly design produces deep, resonant bass tones with exceptional volume while still delivering crisp slaps and articulate high tones.
Equipped with genuine calfskin heads and Tycoon’s Classic Pro hoops, these congas offer warm, dynamic response suited for everything from Afro-Cuban rhythms and Latin jazz to studio recording and live performance. Reinforced side plates, heavy-duty 3/8" tuning lugs, and matching die-cast handles provide dependable durability and professional-level tuning stability.
