The 30 mm motor design provides controlled off-axis dispersion and power response, along with high power handling and a low resonance frequency. Carefully engineered internal volumes help suppress unwanted resonances and reduce distortion, while the optimized dome geometry supports a higher frequency cutoff. A vented voice coil former reduces compression and distortion, and the use of copper-clad aluminum wire minimizes moving mass for greater efficiency and transient clarity.
