The Wavecor 4-1/2" WF118WA07 is a 4-ohm, truncated-frame paper cone mid-woofer designed for demanding bass and midrange applications. Its balanced drive technology helps reduce distortion, making it suited to high-end hi-fi, high-quality home theater systems and multimedia projects, as well as compact 2-way speaker designs.
A large 80 mm magnet structure supports excellent efficiency and optimal T/S parameters. The 1-1/4" voice coil is designed for high power handling, both thermally and mechanically. The optimized paper cone provides large bandwidth and low distortion.
Efficient venting further reduces distortion, while an aluminum shorting ring stabilizes the magnetic field in the air gap.
