The 286M Dual Blink-IR Designer Emitter contain small infrared LEDs housed in a miniature, diamond shaped plastic shells. Unlike other emitters, the 286M emits visible red light in addition to IR (infrared) control signals when activated by IR receivers or other Xantech controllers. The Designer Emitter is designed to be installed directly on the IR control window of equipment. The almost black (deep purple) shell passes infrared (IR) leaving access to the original remote controller while at the same time making the most unobtrusive installation possible. The emitters are made of a deep purple Lexan® for improved infrared pass-through, allowing a greater range of direct control from hand-held controllers.
