Yamaha's commitment to quality sound shines through with the A-S301 integrated amplifier. The innovative Pure Direct design allows the music signal to travel the shortest possible route, bypassing the buffer amp, tone, loudness, and balance controls to essentially eliminate any signal break down for the purest sound quality you have ever experienced.
When processing and transmission of the audio signal is simple and direct there is less chance of it being affected by noise and distortion. Yamaha’s amplifier design technology called ToP-ART (Total Purity Audio Reproduction Technology) features I/O (input to output) direct symmetrical design, with left and right channels organized in a straight, symmetrical layout for highest signal purity.
High quality speaker terminals give you the best connection and outstanding durability. To ensure effective heat dissipation and achieve crisp, clean sound, the A-S301 features dual aluminum-extruded heat sinks. A subwoofer out connection lets you connect an external subwoofer for stronger bass, and better overall sound quality.
Separate from the overall volume, the variable loudness knob controls the balance of the low and high frequency sounds, providing full tonal range at any volume level along with compensating for the natural loss in the human ear of high and low frequencies at soft levels. The A-S301 includes a slim remote control with easy to use buttons, and an auto power off that will automatically power off the amplifier to save energy.
